WIP Update 03/10/2017

Tarkir – Dark World Warriors Book 1 (SFR)

I’ve worked a bit on this story, alternating between it and my Paranormal Operations book. I finished  chapter 4 (1,803 words) and started chapter 5. The two main charters are about to meet and I have a way for them to do that. It will involve some fighting (hand to hand combat as foreplay!), some witty double entendres, and a bit of groping. All in the name of… love and lust!

Taylor – Paranormal Operations, Inc. Book 1 (PNR)

I’m half way through writing at chapter 23 with this one. I have to admit, I had goosebumps as I worked on the first half. This is where the action really starts. I’m hoping I can weld the action with the romance as this book goes forward. I can see the end, I know who lives, dies, or maybe dies. I know HOW all that happens. Now I just have get it all down on “paper”.

Incubus MC – Demon (PNR/MC)

I have done very little writing on the first book in what I hope will be a paranormal MC series.  I’ve just started chapter 7, but haven’t touched it for a month or so. Really, I jump to this one when the other two slow down.

Kai and Kekipi

I played with this one a bit. I now have it at 3,178 words and do see an end in sight.  It’s still loosely based on the Hawaiian legend about the Shark God Kamohoali’i. I’m not sure that I’ll publish this one or just make it a freebie for signing up to my newsletter or what. Maybe an instaFreebie giveaway? I’ll have to see how I feel about it when it’s completed. And then maybe I’ll look for another Hawaiian legend to tackle!

This Spring

This spring is going to be a very busy one for us at home. My daughter and son in law are bring my grandkids for visit at the end of March and then hubby and I are off to Hawaii for 10 days in May.

I know that the week the kids are here I’ll have very little time to write. But it’s a good trade off. I haven’t seen my kids/grandkids for like 2 years.

And the Hawaii trip? Well… it’s a 6 hour flight and I hope to write for most of it. I did that the last time we went. And since we’re not island hopping this trip, I hope to have time at the hotel to write a bit. Again through, we’ll be spending time with hubby’s kids/grandkids. I’m thinking I can write at night, on the balcony of out room, overlooking Waikiki beach and the ocean. Maybe a drink by my side.
